Every year, Paris airports handle millions of passengers to and from several destinations in the country and across the world. Charles de Gaulle is the largest international airport in France.

Paris Orly Airport serves as a secondary hub for domestic flights and handles regional air journeys across Europe. Flights from Paris to Berlin are inexpensive and frequent. With so many flight options, it's easy to bag cheap deals when you book in advance. There are several connecting flights via Düsseldorf, Prague, Frankfurt, Amsterdam, Brussels and Zurich.

Getting to Paris airport

Charles de Gaulle Airport is located about 14 miles northeast of the city, while Orly Airport is situated approximately 9 miles south of Paris. You can get to Charles de Gaulle from the city centre by using the RER B regional rail line, which runs from the south to the north. You can catch the Le Bus Direct Line 2, which connects central Paris to Charles de Gaulle Airport. You can use the RER B train line to connect to Antony Station, where you can take the OrlyVal, the airport shuttle train, for transfer to Orly Airport. You can also take a taxi from your location in the city direct to Paris airports.

Getting to Berlin

Getting to the city centre

Berlin is serviced by two main airports: Schönefeld Airport and Tegel Airport. The two airports are located within easy reach of the city centre. From Tegel, you can take advantage of the JetExpress TXL, which connects the airport to Alexanderplatz in central Berlin. From Schönefeld airport, you can catch one of the six S-Bahn trains that operate from the airport to several stations in the city such as Friedrichstrasse, Alexanderplatz, Ostbahnhof, and Hauptbahnhof. There are several car rental companies at the airports, allowing you to hire a car if you plan to explore the city on your own. Taxis are available at the airport for transfer to any location across the city.
