If your flight leaves from Treviso Airport, the ATVO coach service is the most reliable link from central Venice. The drive takes between 35 and 70 minutes. Coaches depart from Piazzale Roma, so leave plenty of time for the crossing during peak hours.

Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport is 23km from the centre. Transport includes the RER B, TGV, CDGVAL, bus 350, bus 351, line 2 and line 4.

Paris Orly Airport is 14km from the centre. You can take the Orlyval, Metro Line 14, tram T7, RER B, RER C or bus 183.

Paris is a city built for walking, from the galleries of the Louvre Museum to the steep streets of Montmartre. You can see the Eiffel Tower from almost any vantage point, but the view from the Tuileries Garden is just as impressive. For dinner, head to the 11th arrondissement for local bistros, or catch a show at the Moulin Rouge if you want to experience the city's traditional cabaret scene.
