All passengers are allowed one small piece of cabin baggage to fit under the seat in front of them with maximum dimensions 42 x 32 x 25cm. For €10 passengers may bring a larger piece of cabin baggage to place in the overhead compartment with maximum dimensions of 56 x 45 x 25cm.
To check baggage with Wizz Air there is an extra fee. Passengers can check up to 6 bags with a maximum weight of 32kg each. Prices are significantly lower when you pay for checked luggage online instead of at the airport. Prices to check bags vary depending upon the flight time. Web check-in is available from 14 days to 3 hours before scheduled flight departure. If you want to check-in at the airport you will have to choose that option during booking and pay a fee of €10. If you do not pay this fee and arrive at the airport without your boarding pass you will be charged a higher fee of €20 to check-in.
Passengers who have checked-in online and are traveling with checked baggage, must present themselves at the baggage drop-off counter at least 40 minutes before scheduled flight departure. If you arrive at the bag drop-off counter and you do not have your printed boarding pass you will have to pay a €40 boarding pass re-issue fee.
All Wizz Air passengers must present valid travel documents at check-in. Passengers flying within the EU with non-EU travel documents must present themselves at the Wizz Air check-in desks to have their documents checked and stamped before flying. Non-EU passengers without the stamp will not be allowed to board.

I booked through yourselves, but, when I got to the airport, I found when I went to check in, I had to pay an extra 45 Euro because apparently, I was supposed to check in on line??? Hi found it ok at first ,checking -in was smooth and orderly.But during the boardin time the guys charged my son an extra money because of his lap top bag which is so slim and handy.He is carrying a slim hand carry as well.We were charged 70 € extra for this.I found it too unreasonable seeing other passangers carrying bigger bags and purse but allowed to check in without any charge.Sooo unfair and and its not a small amount just for a lap top bag to carry.They should have charged us more if i am not able to put my purse inside my small size hand carry.Just tried to put it even with it's zipper half open just not to pay an extra 25€ for my personal purse where my money ,cards and passports are the only one inside.My good vacation was ruined by this incident.We've been travelling a lot and my first time to experience this in this aircraft.Never again.Its ok really if they do it to all..so unfair.SUSAN
All the hidden charges are not disclosed we had to pay 80 euros just because we didn't do we check in. Nowhere was it mentioned that the charges are extra. And not only extra it is almost as much as the ticket itself.Prerna

It was the worst airline we have ever flown with. We thought they were reasonably priced when we looked them up which why we chose to fly with them. In the end it was $200 more expensive than any of the other flights we had researched, with stupid cost like $160 just to check in.Lachlan

Never again to Luton. There was a difficulty in getting in to the LTN airport, a bus was delayed and crowded. There were more passengeres than free seets, it was questioned by a driver who can get into the bus or not. There was also a traffic before the airport. In the airport there was an alarm, so passengers were not allowed to move forward. Then there was a big croud, so we could not go through to the airplane, etc/Jolanta

Our flight was from tel aviv to sofia, some one had open our bag and stolen our jewellery! We arrived terminal 1 in tel aviv about 08:30 and hand over the bags. The jewellery (tow gold necklace) were in a small box inside small bag inside the big bag! We discoverd that our jewellery missed when we get the bags in teminal 1 in sofia airportwisam kablan

I give one star because got the ticket, got insurance, got hand luggage that I had to pay for, choose the seat. Was so much better getting tickets via you, wizz you have to register and friend did the first time but now won't let us get tickets, and on board baggage was better with you as wizz charge for reg bag saying it is large, wizz, seating was cramped and flight into Lon was a bit scary when we were due to land. on return was ok landed on time. small bottle of water £2.....disgraceful charges..And as I was booking this ticket it went up £20 right in front of my eyes,, it began at £58 and ended up over £90, DISGUSTED, SHOULDN'T BE ALLOWEDPickles
My friend and I arrived over 2 hours in advance to check in. We completed the "Online Check In" and had our boarding passes on the "Wizzair" Application. The man behind the counter refused us to board/check in- he said we didn't check in online. I showed him E-mails stating our check in confirmation, and he dissappeared for over 20 minutes searching through printed packets. He then told us that e have to pay 35 Euro each because we didnt print out our boarding pass. Wizzair offers a new mobile feature to have them available and useable in the Application, he refused to honor this. He sent be to a test where we had to pay 70 euro in addition to our ticket costs. I also opted to buy the "text information" option upon buying our tickets. I NEVER received anything!!!! Very rude, nasty, and arrogant service. Then, we waited 2.5 hours PAST DEPARTURE TIME to load onto the bus to take us to our plane!!! We were never alerted of any delay, so we stood there in line and waited!!Tara
It is not OK to pay 49 eur for the flying but nearly 40 for one bag of 20kg. Standard heavy of trip bag is 15-20 kg, Until 23 kg it is Ok to pay extra 10 eur. But 40... ?!Ivan Bozilovic
