The airline offers routes to over 80 destinations in Ireland, England, Continental Europe, the United States and Northern Africa. Apart from Dublin, it has hubs in Belfast City, Cork, London Gatwick, and Shannon. Aer Lingus was founded in 1936 by the Irish Government and its first flight took off in May of the same year, in a route from Dublin to Bristol. Today, the airline employs over 4,000 people with a fleet of 45 Airbus aircraft which in 2011 flew over 9.5 million passengers.Aer Lingus was a member of the Oneworld alliance until 2007, and today, although it is no longer part of the alliance, has maintained code share agreements with OneWorld, SkyTeam, and StarAlliance members and interline agreements with Aer Arann, JetBlue Airways, and United Airlines.

When boarding the plane can't understand given there is only one entrance, that ye don't call seats at the front of the plane to seats nine first. It's done on the flight from Edinburgh to Cork. It's not rocket science.
Flight out with Aer Lingus was perfect. However Ryanair are gone to the dogs... we were left in a queue for an hour with nobody on duty to check in our bag. They came on duty after 4pm when our flight was 5:30pm. It just leaves it too tight to get through security and get something to eat especially with kids. There was an air Stewart that insisted on telling jokes we were told by the captain the flight would take an hour: maybe he took a wrong turn but the flight took more than 1 hour 30 mins. I?ve always flown Ryanair but I will be trying to avoid it in future.
Excellent all round.
There should be on-board tv's on a long haul flights
People from England got the exact same holiday for ?1 500
Very good.
One staff inside the plane was rough in dealing with situation not helpful . She should be polite as travelling is already stress and people needs reassurance instead of showing behaviour to passenger.
Advise passengers to get to the front of the queue for boarding so can keep their hand bag with them!
We only had 1 Silver Aer-Lingus lounge card so my wife was not allowed in...- there's something not right: my wife always flies with me and she hasn't received her own Silver-Award-card. Should be changed!
Very good all around
I missed my flight due to unforeseen circumstances and I am finding it impossible to contact someone to get a refund
Landing was not very nice even though weather was very fine
A lot of problems with seat allocations of passengers Finally my luggage was not arriving at the destination
The airline significantly dropped the price before the flight which was much less than what i paid.
Expensive
