Athens Airport is around 17 miles from the city centre. There are several ways to move from downtown Athens to AIA. When using public transport, you can use Metro Line 3 'Aghia Marina – Athens International Airport.' At Athens Central Railway, you can connect to AIA using the suburban rail. If using the bus, take X95 from Syntagma (Athens centre) that will take you to the airport. Regional buses – KTEL Express Service – also operate from other cities to AIA. For those who will be driving to the airport from the port, get on A6/E94 to Attiki Odos/A62 (Spata Loutsa).

Guests of the city on flights from Athens to Amsterdam will land at Schiphol Airport. The award-winning airport offers several onward journey options. If you have luggage, riding a taxi – found in front of Schiphol Plaza – is the most comfortable option. To board a train, the station is located below the airport at the Schiphol Plaza. Buses can also be found in the same area, as well as city and regional lines and shuttle buses. Take the Amsterdam Airport Express bus 197 for a direct connection to the city.
