Aer Lingus’ frequent flyer programme, the Gold Circle Club, gives members the opportunity to earn and spend frequent flyer points on Aer Lingus and partner airline flights.
Headquartered in Dublin International Airport, Aer Lingus is Ireland’s second largest airline, after low cost competitor, Ryanair. The airline offers routes to over 80 destinations in Ireland, England, Continental Europe, the United States and Northern Africa. Apart from Dublin, it has hubs in Belfast City, Cork, London Gatwick, and Shannon. Aer Lingus was founded in 1936 by the Irish Government and its first flight took off in May of the same year, in a route from Dublin to Bristol. Today, the airline employs over 4,000 people with a fleet of 45 Airbus aircraft which in 2011 flew over 9.5 million passengers.
Aer Lingus was a member of the Oneworld alliance until 2007, and today, although it is no longer part of the alliance, has maintained code share agreements with OneWorld, SkyTeam, and StarAlliance members and interline agreements with Aer Arann, JetBlue Airways, and United Airlines.

Aer Lingus have really gone down hill. We paid top dollar to go to Vienna to celebrate our Silver Wedding anniversary, We could have travelled Ryanair for half the price. the knee space is far too tight with the top of the pocket right in my knee. then when the people in front decided to recline their seats it was a very miserable flight. RA have widened the space and took away the recliners, no pockets, so far more pleasant to travel with. Then we wanted to be organised and print our boarding passes in time, this cost another E31 which is crazy. With RA you can do this up to 1 week before at no charge. Very disappointing. Sit up and take note or is this the price of BA takeover.MOGIE
You booked my return flight from London to Dublin (where I would get the connection to Hartford) literally 1 hour after our plane was supposed to land in London. Meridiana was delayed by 20 minutes, which caused us to completely miss our flight from London to Dublin, which caused us to miss our flight home to Hartford. We were charged $180 to change our Aer Lingus tickets to the next day even though we had no other choice, as well as pay $195 for a hotel in London since we were stuck there. I assumed the flight package you offered me had enough time in between to catch the flight from London to Dublin, however even if Meridiana Naples to London was not delayed, we likely wouldn't have made the London to Dublin anyway. Why would you offer a route home that literally did not have enough time in between flights. So now I had to spend $300 extra, along with miss a day of work because of the return route your company offered me. I was a very big fan of your company until this happened. Please make this right.david.mailly
