"CheckIn: Given that I had already given the ages of my children before check in when we got to the airport the automatic check in tried to allocate 3 of us in one place and one in another. We had to go to the check in desk to get two seats together. It is not fair on the other passengers that a 3 year old and 2 year old sit with only one parent when there are two parents flying! We had to check in at the airport rather than online which didn't help. BA has a great system that you can choose your seats online and print your own pass out before you fly"

"Children: We tried to use the automated checking in system. That took 20 minutes including the attempted help of a flight representative before we went to a desk. On the way back from Dresden the lady behind the desk tried to get us to use the automated system but given our experience flying out I asked that she assist us which she did. I would not fly alone with the children on this flight and I am a frequent flyer with BA where I have never had any problems"
