"Quick and perfect internet booking thanks to eDreams. I bought one ticket Gatwick-Tenefife North whith stop and plane change in Madrid: Before arriving in Madrid Air Europa only announced the gates for connecting flights but not the TERMINAL number. On leaving the plane and entering Terminal 1 one Air Europa employee was again calling out loud the gates but not the terminal number, which gave the impression the departing flights would use the same terminal. Incredibly, the boarding pass I had received for the following flight to Tenerife did not show the word "Terminal 2". After going to the ground floor and just after passing the security check I was told I had to go to Terminal 4, which required waiting and riding a bus for a few mintes, running through long aisles and stairs, etc, only to discover thatI had to go to Terminal 2, more running, more security check queues, etc When I arrived at the right gate, totally exhausted, 11 minutes before departure time it was too late. Not only I then had to wait 4 1/2 hours but also had to pay 63 euros extra to be able to go home in Tenerife. That was not the end. That second flight departed 1h. 40 m.late!"

"CheckIn: Please print the word TERMINAL, followed by the right number, on each boarding pass + when giving the gate numbers -before the plane arrives at the intermediate airport- for the connecting flights say the number of the corresponding terminal. Perhaps Air Europa wishes to add excitement to the journey by not providing proper information about the terminal to be used for the connecting flight. If they do wish to create adventure (plus a certain amount of swearing) they really succeded in my case. Item 2: not one sngle Air Europe employee in the Madrid airport expressed any interest (let alone a trace of sympahy) for a 79 year old client undergoing a great deal of hassle that could have been easily avoded."
